The Weather in Fethiye

ADS Travel specialises in Villas and Apartments in and around the beautiful town of Fethiye, on the Mediterranean coast in the south west of Turkey, including Kayakoy, Hisaronu, Ovacik & Oludeniz

A notch above its rivals, Fethiye meets the demands of the tourist trade and successfully combines them with an authentic Turkish mood.

The picture postcard seafront cupped by green hills is a delight - alive with bustling pavement cafés overlooking the gentler scene of the yachts and fishing boats.

Narrow cobbled streets form a tight warren of interesting nooks and crannies whilst the marina remains the undisputed focal point.

The atmosphere is electric in high season when tourist numbers swell the already large resident population, because Fethiye remains a working town.

Ovacik & Hisaronu

Ovacik & Hisaronu

Ovacik & Hisaronu are two attractive villages with a refreshing breeze during hot summer days from Babadag Mountain, covered with pine forests. The Hotels, Restaurants, Bars and shopping centres offer something for everyone. There is a plentiful supply of nightlife in Hisaronu, with a good selection of clubs and discos.

Kaya VillageKaya Village

Kaya was a fascinating settlement where the Antolian Greeks lived until 1922, and was named "Levissi"

As a result of an agreement signed by the two countries in 1922 for population exchange, the Turks in Thrace and the Greeks in Anatolia were asked to change places. However, the immigrants from Thrace were unable to adjust and left the area.

Kaya has been a "Ghost Village" since 1923.

Olu Denis Beach

Olu Deniz

Many have said that Olu Denis is the most photographed beach in Turkey and you can see why. Calm, crystal clear and turquoise are just a few of the words that describe the appearance of the sea. Towering above is Babadag Mountain , clad with pine trees and mountain goats; watch the paragliders float gracefully from the sky while sipping a cool drink at one of the many seafront cafes. Total tranquility!
